Steve’s career in healthcare spans almost 20 years, supporting people with conditions relating to mental health, learning and/or physical disabilities and older people. He has a sunny disposition and a wide range of interests from wildlife to sport, which he says, is useful when supporting anyone and engage in stimulating conversation.
Paula has worked as a carer for over 20 years and as a live-in carer since 2011. She is warm, friendly and manages to find the humour in any situation. Paula enjoys supporting older people and has a special interest in dementia. She is a good wholesome cook and particularly house-proud, which reflects in her housekeeping in her client’s home.
Paula is married and has grown up children with children of their own.
After working as an auxiliary nurse in South Africa for 20 years, Lola came to England when she married her British husband in 2000. Lola has carried out live-in care for 10 years and works well with older people, physically disabled and has supported a 40+ year old lady with MS for a number of years.
Lola continues to be an avid student; she is currently undertaking a distance learning course on Parkinson’s Disease.
